The map on the right shows the immediate vicinity. The nearest underground stations are:

• Euston Square (4 min walk, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and City and Circle Underground lines);
• Euston (5 mins, Mainline rail services, Northern and Victoria Tube lines);
• Goodge Street (2 mins, Northern line) and
• Warren Street (5 mins, Northern and Victoria lines).

The nearest mainline stations are:

• Euston (walking distance) and
• King's Cross St. Pancras (one stop on the Metropolitan and Circle lines).

The Computer Science Department is housed in the Malet Place Engineering Building (MPEB) (C4/C5 on this map).

The simplest way to find us is to enter UCL via the Malet Place gate (opposite Waterstones bookshop in Torrington Place). The MPEB is on the left after the Roberts (Engineering) Building. Enter via the automatic foyer doors and Computer Science is located on floors 4 to 8. The Departmental Office reception area is on the 5th floor (5.25).

UCL maintains a "routfinder" system which will assist in navigating to and from public transport stations and around the campus.

Turnstiles have been installed at the entrance to the MPEB, so access to MPEB is now restricted to staff and students during core hours.

Visitors and deliveries can gain access to MPEB via the Front Engineering Building (the first building on the left, at the Malet Place gate). On entering the building, please go to the Reception (Ground floor) to sign in. You will then be shown to the lift area, take the lift to the 5th floor, turn right after exiting the lift, go straight on through the metal door, cross over using the link bridge (which leads into MPEB), walk straight past the lift lobby, use the door on your left which leads you to the Computer Science Reception area. Please note that there is no link to the 8th floor of MPEB, therefore, if you are going to the 8th floor, exit the Roberts building lift on the 7th floor, and link through to the 7th floor of MPEB, then use the MPEB stairs or MPEB lifts to get to the 8th floor. (PS: Please also note that only the service lift in MPEB stops on the 1st floor.)
